Parish Council Award Scheme 2021

We are looking for local community heroes to be nominated for our new Newland Parish Council Annual Award.

If you think someone or even a group deserve to be recognised for their efforts, then please feel free to nominate.   Examples of this could be, supporting vulnerable people during the pandemic and other times.    Village support groups such as litter pickers, drain clearers (in preparation for or during a bad weather event).   Supporting our parish infrastructure, I.e. village halls, playing fields, keeping paths and rights of way clear.

This is by no means an extensive list of suggestions, we as a parish council feel it is important to acknowledge people in our community who do make a difference to people's lives - the unsung heroes.
