Parish Plan

The Council's Parish Plan was drawn up towards the end of 2007 to cover a four year period from 2008 to 2011. At intervals the plan was re-assessed in the light of changing circumstances and progress which has been made on the various elements contained within it. The elements in the plan were identified from a questionnaire sent to every household in the parish and following subsequent public meetings.

On the expiry of the original plan, public meetings were held in each of the three villages during 2011 and early 2012 and from the suggestions which emerged the new 2012 plan was drawn up.

A further mini "renew and refresh" exercise was undertaken at the Annual Parish Meeting on 15th April 2014 but little emerged by way of new ideas. Consequently it has been decided that the Advisory Committee will now only meet annually in October and that a "renew and refresh" exercise will be undertaken every 4 years; the next in 2016.

The Council agreed that no further work would be undertaken on the Parish Plan until after the 2019 election.
