Welcome to the Newland Parish Council website

The parish is situated in the west of Gloucestershire, adjacent to the Welsh border, in the Royal Forest of Dean and partly in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Parish Council serves the villages of Clearwell, Newland and Redbrook, together with the hamlets of Stowe, Stowe Green and Trow Green, and parts of Sling and Whitecliff.

The District Council planning committee at the meeting on 9 April REFUSED permission for a poultry shed at Clearwell Farm.  Thanks to everyone who supported our campaign of opposition.
