Forest of Dean District Council have published their proposals for introducing charges for car parking throughout their area (which includes the Redbrook river car park).

Quality Status
The Parish Council successfully applied for re-accreditation as a Quality Council on 9 February 2011. The accreditation runs for a 4 year period. Newland was the second authority in the county to be accredited in 2007 and is also the second to carry this accolade for a second term. There are still only 14 authorities in Gloucestershire which have attained this award
